Dr Fareed, DVM

“Dr. Fareed is a skilled and experienced veterinarian with a strong passion for animal health and well-being. In 1997, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Agriculture in Pakistan, his home country. He began practicing in Pakistan until 2011 when he made the decision to make the move to Ontario. Once he received his credentials from the College of Veterinary of Ontario, he began practicing in various locations over the years such as Woodstock and Hamilton, gaining valuable experience in diverse settings. His skills and dedication quickly earned him a reputation as a compassionate and skilled veterinarian. Dr. Fareed practiced at Banfield in the US as well, during this time, he developed a special interest in surgery, which led him to pursue advanced training in this field. In 2019, Dr. Fareed purchased 16th Ave Animal Hospital in Markham where he now serves as Lead Veterinarian. He brings his extensive experience and expertise in surgery to the practice, and is committed to providing the highest quality care to his patients.”
